Annual Cape Cod Community Health Center Golf Tournament Raises $83,000

BOURNE, MA – The Community Health Center hosted its 22nd annual golf tournament at Pocasset Golf Club on Monday, September 12.

More than 120 golfers participated in the event, raising funds to support the community health center’s mission to improve the health of the community by providing comprehensive, high quality, and compassionate health care to all, regardless of their ability to pay.

The tournament raised over $83,000 for Community Health Center programs and services, the highest amount in the event’s history.

“We are beyond grateful for the outpouring of support that helped make this year’s golf tournament a great success,” said Karen Gardner, Executive Director of the Community Health Center. “This event allows the CHC to provide access to essential holistic services for the patients we serve, providing connections to resources for patients with food or housing insecurity, helping individuals obtain health insurance, providing translation services and establishing engagement with a care team. to help manage chronic and dynamic illnesses.
