Student Health Services reports several cases of influenza and ILI in October, earlier than in recent years. The CDC has a helpful website dedicated to seasonal flu, including information on how to tell the difference between the flu and cold and between the flu and COVID-19.

If you have symptoms of respiratory illness, see a doctor TimelyCare 24/7 virtual medical care for students, Student Health Servicesthe Faculty/Staff Health and Wellness Clinic, or other resources. And remember the strategies we’ve learned over the past few years: stay home if you have a fever, wash your hands frequently, cough into your elbow, think about when to wear a mask, be careful in large crowds or social settings, do not share drinks. , etc.
