Here are the top three stories in Grand Rapids today:

  1. Spectrum Health plans to open three new buildings in Grand Rapids, Lakeview and Big Rapids. The building will be an 11-story, 240,000 square foot ambulatory care building located on the north side of Michigan Street NE just west of Lafayette Avenue and is expected to open in the spring of 2024.   2. Grand Rapids will host a vaccination clinic for communities of color on Martin Luther King Jr. To ensure that communities of color are vaccinated in West Michigan, The Grand Rapids African American Health Institute is in partnership with Brown-Hutcherson Ministries, University of Michigan Health-West and the Grand Rapids MLK Worship Celebration Committee. The clinic will take place next Monday, January 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Brown-Hutcherson Ministries, located at 618 Jefferson Avenue SE. (WOODTV.com)
  3. Grand Rapids is set to host several concerts at downtown venues over the next few months. Headliners include Papa Roach, Brian Regan, Dierks Bentley, and more. (GR|MAG)
