Essentia and Fargo Cass Public Health plan to provide booster shots

Essentia and Fargo Cass Public Health open for booster shots. The third vaccine only applies to those who have chosen Pfizer as their vaccine of choice. Effective immediately, Essentia and Fargo Cass Public Health have restrictions in place for those who can get vaccinated.

Essentia restrictions.

– People aged 65 and over and residents of long-term care facilities.
– People between the ages of 50 and 64 with underlying medical conditions that make them particularly susceptible to severe COVID-19.
– People aged 18-49 with specific medical conditions, based on an assessment of their individual benefits and risks
– People between the ages of 18 and 64 who are at increased risk of exposure and transmission of COVID-19 due to their professional or institutional environment.

FCPH Restrictions.

– People 65 and older and residents of long-term care facilities should receive a booster shot.
– People between the ages of 50 and 64 with underlying medical conditions should receive a booster shot.
– People between the ages of 18 and 49 with underlying medical conditions may receive a booster shot based on their individual benefits and risks.
– Individuals between the ages of 18 and 64 who are at increased risk of exposure and transmission of COVID-19 due to their occupational or institutional setting may receive a booster based on their individual benefits and risks.
