Fort Drum Regional Health Planning Organization Receives $2,300 to Support EMT Training Program | Health issues

WATERTOWN – With the COVID-19 pandemic exacerbating strains on emergency medical services, the need arose for more paramedics to help relieve the pressure that had built up.

In recognition of the Fort Drum Regional Health Planning Organization’s program helping to do just that, Excellus BlueCross BlueShield recently presented the organization with a $2,300 Community Health Award to support the training program of emergency medical technician/EMS.
